Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Sterilization Tech that would transition to a assistant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice, providing exceptional support to both patients and dental professionals. This position requires a blend of administrative skills and clinical knowledge. We are willing to train the right person for this professional skill set. Future potential to be trained as a dental assistant.
Responsibilities
Proper sterilization of dental operatories and instrument sterilization.
Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Preparing treatment rooms.
Assist with patient intake, including collecting medical history and vital signs.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments while managing the office calendar.
Ensure treatment rooms and office are stocked with necessary supplies.
Preparation of the day and end of day procedures
Maintain patient records in compliance with privacy regulations and office protocols.
Perform basic administrative tasks such as answering phones, processing payments, and managing correspondence.
Requirements
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry or can be training
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Previous experience in the dental field or in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per year
