Job Description

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, and help ensure excellent patient care.
**Duties:**
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
- Take and record patients' medical histories and vital signs
- Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records
**Requirements:**
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification required
- Proficiency in dental software, preferably Eaglesoft
- Knowledge of coding for dental procedures
- Strong understanding of anatomy and dental terminology
- Ability to perform patient assessments and take accurate vital signs
- Prior experience working in a dental office
