Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Austin, TX
Job OverviewWe are a very successful family owned dental office , seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health and patient care, with a strong background in dental procedures and patient education.
Expected Hours: 30-35hrs per week. Mon-Thurs.
Duties- Perform dental cleanings- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Take dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Conduct periodontal charting and screenings
ExperienceThe successful candidate should possess the following skills:- Proficiency in general dental hygiene procedures.- Knowledge of anatomy, dental coding, dental terminology, vital signs, and dental documentation- Familiarity with dental operations, dental imaging, HIPAA and OSHA regulations, and CAD software
