OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and proficiency in various dental systems. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations on patients
Review documentation and patient records to ensure accuracy and completeness
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and record keeping
Apply knowledge of medical coding for accurate billing processes
Assist in four-handed dentistry techniques during procedures
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Conduct pediatric dentistry assessments with a focus on child-friendly approaches
Adhere to strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment
Utilize medical imaging technology for diagnostic purposes
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and treatment outcomes

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental management systems is preferred
Knowledge of medical coding practices is advantageous
Strong understanding of infection control standards in a clinical setting
Ability to perform medical imaging tasks as required
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
Previous experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory
