Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and recording vital signs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during examinations
Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Manage medical records accurately, documenting treatments and patient interactions in compliance with regulations.
Stay updated on dental terminology, systems, and advancements in general and pediatric dentistry.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in Washington State.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and general dentistry practices.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with electronic health records system- Open Dental- is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
