This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and the ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate medical records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, updating patient records, and managing medical documentation.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is a plus.
Strong understanding of medical records management and documentation practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent training is desirable but not mandatory.
