Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing quality dental care to patients.
Responsibilities- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Take and develop dental X-rays- Maintain accurate patient records- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Assist hygienist during procedures
Skills- Proficiency in Eaglesoft dental software systems- Knowledge of , pediatric dentistry, and X-Ray procedures- Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques- Ability to perform dental tasks when needed- Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures
Qualifications- Chairside assisting experience- Proficiency in dental terminology and 3D scanner usage- Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry and medical terminology- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software- Registered Dental Assistant certification- Skilled in dental assisting techniques and aseptic practices
