Job Description
Duties:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental X-rays- Perform dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records- Provide patient assessment and education on oral hygiene and dental care- Assist with medical coding and billing for dental procedures
Experience:- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred- Knowledge of dental systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic is a plus- Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy- Ability to take and interpret vital signs
Skills:- Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in record keeping and instrument sterilization- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and patient comfort
