OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in patient care, ensuring optimal oral health through preventive measures and education. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and the ability to perform thorough patient assessments. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients.
Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
Provide dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient treatment plans and progress accurately in the electronic health record systems.
Assist dentists during procedures as needed, demonstrating knowledge of dental assisting techniques.
Maintain infection control standards in compliance with regulations and best practices.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
