Permanent Dental Assistant Job in League City, TX

Weâre on the hunt for a superstar Registered Dental Assistant in League City, Tx who is passionate about working with children and has a strong work ethic. While experience is preferred, weâre happy to train the right person. Our office hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday is a half day from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We take pride in maintaining a calm, mature, and friendly environment where everyone gets along. Weâre looking for someone with a positive attitude who is comfortable assisting with both hygiene and dental procedures, and isnât afraid to take on any necessary tasks, including cleaning and general duties.

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and available.
Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Manage patient records accurately using dental software systems like Dentrix
Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, including cleaning and organizing instruments.
Support pediatric patients by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing their concerns.
Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.
Familiarity with infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance.
Experience with dental software such as Dentrix is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is preferred.
