Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team part-time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively with dentists and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take digital dental radiographs as needed.
Document patient care and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in the management of patient records using state-of-the-art dental software
Monitor vital signs and maintain aseptic techniques during procedures.
Provide care for pediatric patients, ensuring a positive experience for children in the dental office.
Stay current on dental terminology, practices, and advancements in the field.

Experience

A degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program is required.
State licensure to practice as a Dental Hygienist is mandatory.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not required.
Experience with dental assisting duties is a plus
