Job Summary:Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant at our thriving dental clinic. We are seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive work environment. While certification is preferred, we are open to training the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow in the field of dentistry.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist chair-side with patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.- Perform necessary dental treatments under the direct supervision of the dentist.- Take X-rays and assist with post-operative patient care by providing clear instructions.- Maintain accurate patient charts and ensure consent forms are up-to-date for treatments.- Prepare treatment rooms according to established protocols for each patient.- Welcome patients in the waiting room and escort them to examination rooms promptly.- Demonstrate proficiency in handling multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
Experience:- Prior experience in a dental clinic setting is beneficial.- Familiarity with Open Dental or similar dental software systems is a plus.- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques is advantageous.- Understanding of general dentistry procedures and terminology.- Previous work as a dental receptionist would be an asset.
Hours:Monday through Thursday: 7:15am - 4:00pm
Pay:Starting at $18/hr
