Dental Assistant Wanted for our RSM Practice

Hello!! We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our amazing dental family!!

We are a well-established General Dentistry practice in Rancho Santa Margarita.  We see generations of families in our office and our staff have been with us for years!  We pride ourselves on our up-beat, positive office atmosphere.  Our office is state-of-the-art and beautifully appointed.

We are looking for a Back-Office Dental Assistant who is willing to assist in front office tasks as well.  We don't require a ton of experience.  The most important qualities we are looking for are a great personality, quality care for our patients and excellent team-work!

• Duties

  • Greeting and seating patients
  • Break-down, sterilization and set-up of dental operatories
  • Assisting dentist during dental procedures
  • Dental X-rays (we are willing to help obtain certifications for the right candidate!)
  • Maintaining patient lab cases.
  • Maintaining accurate dental records and patient information using Dentrix
  • Ensuring infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
  • Managing appointment scheduling, including confirming patient visits and handling cancellations
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as needed, including managing dental reception duties
  • Team-Work!

  Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members
  • Experience in dental assisting techniques and practices is ideal
  • Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix is ideal
  • Knowledge of infection control standards in a clinical setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Experience in general dentistry is a plus
