Seeking Friendly Dental Hygienist
Welcome to The Smile Shop! We are a privately owned family practice located in RTP with an opening for a full time or part time dental hygienist. We offer a friendly & caring work environment, flexible hours, and competitive pay with benefits package. Our office focuses on providing outstanding preventative and therapeutic patient care in a relaxed and team driven atmosphere with single column schedule and one hour patient appointments. We are an EOE.
An ideal candidate has a passion for dental hygiene & patient education as well as a desire to establish a long term caring relationship with their patients. Experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome as well. Nitrous oxide and local anesthesia certifications are preferred, but we offer to compensate for training.
Primary Job Duties Include:

Remove hard and soft deposits from teeth and examine oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease.
Record & review dental histories and patient records.
Responsible for patient flow, keeping treatment rooms neat and organized.
Instruct and educate patients in oral hygiene, provide preventative dental care, take and develop X-rays, or apply fluoride or sealants.

Associate's Degree or higher from ADA accredited dental hygienist school; Current State Licensure; CPR Certification are required.
