Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and will be proficient in a variety of dental procedures. This role involves working closely with patients to diagnose and treat oral health issues, while also educating them on preventative care. A passion for patient care and a collaborative spirit are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases.
Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Conduct various dental procedures including, but not limited to, general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assess dental conditions accurately.
Maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques during procedures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry environment.
Manage patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software for efficient practice management.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventative care strategies.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and general dentistry practices.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
Experience in dental fabrication is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
