Job SummaryWe are seeking a FULL TIME Dental Assistant with at least 1 YEAR of EXPERIENCE to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical/dental records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Skills

Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures.
Familiarity with dental software such as Open Dental is beneficial but not required
Understanding of infection control standards and practices in a dental setting.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
