Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on effective dental hygiene practices.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate oral health and hygiene.
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care activities.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dental terminology, and preventive care.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Skills

Proficiency in Softdent or similar dental software for managing patient records.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology.
Excellent patient assessment skills with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
Ability to assist effectively in various dental procedures while maintaining a calm demeanor.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques to uphold safety standards in the clinic.
Strong communication skills to educate patients about their oral health needs.
Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
