Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including handling medical documentation.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging when required, ensuring high-quality results.
Support pediatric dentistry practices by creating a welcoming environment for young patients.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with dental clinic systems and procedures is advantageous.
Knowledge of medical terminology and prosthodontics will be considered a plus.
Experience with dental receptionist duties is beneficial but not mandatory.
A strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
