Eagle View Community Health System is seeking a motivated individuals for a full-time position in our health centers located in Oquawka, Stronghurst, Monmouth Illinois. The ideal candidate would have the ability to perform dental cleanings, removing plaque, tarter and stains as well as scaling and polishing teeth. Conducting patient assessments, educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care. Taking dental X-ryas and assisting in diagnosing oral conditions. Working alongside dentist to create and implement treatment plans. This position would play a crucial role in improving access to dental care in underserved populations, often working with diverse and low-income individuals.
Summary
As a Full-time Dental Hygienist, you will be essential in providing high-quality patient care and promoting oral health. Reporting to the lead dentist, your core responsibilities will include chairside assisting, patient assessment, and maintaining medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Your expertise in dental terminology and aseptic techniques will ensure a safe and effective environment. With premium skills in pediatric dentistry and familiarity with software like Eaglesoft and Dentrix, you will enhance patient experiences and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Responsibilities

Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Conduct patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Utilize dental software like Eaglesoft and Dentrix for documentation and scheduling.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
Monitor vital signs and assist in pediatric dentistry as needed.

Qualifications

Proficient in chairside assisting and patient care
Strong knowledge of dental and medical terminology
Experience with patient assessment and general dentistry practices
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical records management
Skilled in aseptic techniques and documentation review
Experience with Eaglesoft and Dentrix software preferred
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and vital signs monitoring is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $46.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
