OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and vital signs, to ensure comprehensive care.
Provide high-quality patient care through preventive treatments such as cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in pediatric dental care, ensuring a positive experience for younger patients.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, scheduling, and record keeping.
Perform medical imaging procedures as needed to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
Collaborate with dentists in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Stay updated on medical coding practices relevant to dental procedures.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of patient assessment techniques and vital signs monitoring.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Proficient in using Dentrix or similar dental software systems.
Knowledge of medical coding practices related to dentistry is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
