Registered Dental Hygienist - Dickinson & Branon Dental Care - Saint Albans, VT

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Perform documentation review to ensure accurate patient records and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize Dentrix systems for patient management and record keeping.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry practices.

Experience

Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role within a dental practice is preferred.
Familiarity with Dentrix software is highly desirable.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, demonstrating an ability to work effectively with children.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on patient education and comfort.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Requirements:
Current license as a Dental Hygienist in good standing in the state of Vermont
