Associate Dentist - PAS Smiles - Humble, TX

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in both general and pediatric dentistry, with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Duties

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals (endodontics), and preventive care.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient care and comfort.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to provide the best treatment options.
Educate patients on oral health, hygiene practices, and preventative care strategies.
Manage patient records using Dentrix software for efficient tracking and reporting.

Experience

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution is required.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, particularly in pediatric dentistry or general dentistry.
Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential for effective diagnosis and treatment planning.
Familiarity with dental fabrication processes is advantageous for providing comprehensive care.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients are crucial for success in this role.
