Surgical Dental Assistant - Sensitive Care Cosmetic & Family Dentistry - Milford, CT

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and proper patient comfort.
Utilize Eaglesoft for patient record management and scheduling.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, including 3D scanners.
Educate patients on post-operative care and dental hygiene practices.
Perform radiographic imaging and assist with X-ray procedures as needed.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

Proficient in chairside assisting and dental terminology
Experience with 3D scanners and general dentistry practices
Knowledgeable in prosthodontics, endodontics, and aseptic techniques
Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Eaglesoft
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
Ability to perform X-rays and manage vital signs
Experience in four-handed dentistry techniques

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
