## OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various dental procedures and possess strong organizational skills to support our dental practice.
## Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures- Perform various office tasks as needed
## Qualifications- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods- Experience with medical imaging, endodontics, prosthodontics, and vital signs measurement- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Epic software is a plus- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment- Reliable, loyal and responsible
