Dental Hygienist - Sunny Days Dental - Austin, TX

Sunny Days Dental was established in 2016 in East Austin and has grown with the community. The practice’s team includes a single doctor, two dental assistants, front office, and a hygienist. Our team, equipment and protocols are carefully selected and consistently fine-tuned to grow with the practice in harmony, efficiency and clinical care. Strictly PPO or OON, we dedicate a full 90 minutes for each new patient exam and 60 for routine recare visits.
We are seeking a positive, engaging, and enthusiastic hygienist with the willingness to guide patients to healthier lifestyle choices and indicate possible dental concerns. Sunny Days Dental is hiring for a full time position, four days/week.
THREE days/week : Mon, Wed, Thurs
Hours:
M/W 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM and TH 9:30 AM -6 PM.
Responsibilities and Duties

Accurate and precise attention to detail
Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
Compassionate and caring of patients
Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work in an intense, concentrated environment
Calm and cool-headed with a positive attitude
Complies with all office, local, state, and American Dental Association regulations, protocols, and procedures
Licensed to practice in state
X-Ray Certification: Meet all local and state requirements to operate radiography equipment
Understanding of standard practices and procedures
Good interpersonal skills and communication
Computer skills: able and willing to learn PM software
