Dental Assistant for Small South Philly Practice - Corner Dentistry - Philadelphia, PA

We are looking for an experienced, friendly, and hard-working dental assistant to join our team. The office is a small, neighborhood oriented practice in South Philadelphia - most of our patients live within a few blocks of our location. We pride ourselves in providing the community high quality dental care in a comfortable and casual environment. Currently, our team consists of an office manager, hygienist, dental assistant, and husband/wife dentists. Our current assistant is leaving the practice in April and will be available to help with the transition.
We expect each applicant to be well versed in all general dentistry procedures (restorative, endo, crown and bridge), be RDA or EFDA certified, and possess a radiology certificate. Additional duties will include sterilization, monitoring inventory, ordering supplies, generalized upkeep of dental equipment/facility, and periodically answering phones. All applicants must have at least 2 years experience in a general dentistry practice.
We are seeking someone who is interested in a long term employment opportunity. Compensation will be based on experience. Additional benefits, including health insurance, will be offered after 3-6 months employment.
