```Duties```- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Take dental x-rays- Perform dental charting and recordkeeping- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
```Skills```- Pediatrics: Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred- Assisting: Proficient in providing chairside assistance to dentists during procedures- Infection control: Knowledge of proper infection control protocols and procedures- Vital signs: Ability to take and record vital signs accurately- X-Ray: Proficient in taking dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes- Aseptic technique: Skilled in maintaining a sterile environment during dental procedures
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking x-rays, performing charting and recordkeeping, providing patient education, and sterilizing instruments.
