Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists with various dental procedures, including general dentistry, implant surgery, root canal treatments and four-handed dentistry- Monitor patients' vital signs and maintain accurate records- Operate dental equipment, including 3D scanners- Implement infection control measures to ensure a clean and safe environment- Maintain dental clinic supplies and manage inventory- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records- Collaborate with the dental receptionist to coordinate patient flow- Maintain anatomy knowledge to understand dental procedures and patient needs- Use Open Dental software to manage patient information- Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required- Completion of a dental assisting program or relevant experience- Certification in dental assisting or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Strong anatomy knowledge and understanding of dental procedures- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Proficiency in Open Dental software and other dental software- Familiarity with 3D scanners and vital signs monitoring- Ability to maintain infection control standards- Physical stamina to perform duties in a seated or standing position for extended periods- Availability to work on Friday and Saturday for 8 hours each day and 16 hours weekly.
