Dental Assistant - Dental House of Washington - Washington, IA

Dental House of Washington is looking to add another member to our wonderful team!

Previous dental background is preferred but not required. Will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities
· Their primary responsibility is chair side assisting and treatment of our patients

The position requires great verbal skills, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills

· Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
· Setup and breakdown operatory post treatment
· Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
· Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
· Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
· Perform various office tasks
· Explaining treatment plans for patients
Office hours are 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with a 1 hour scheduled lunch break.
Office is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
