We are searching for an experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant that will join us and contribute to our office culture. We also offer a bonus pay system to our employees, effective immediately upon hire. Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
Take dental X-rays
Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
Place excellent dental fillings
Experience:
Previous experience as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant preferred
Knowledge of dental software systems such as Eaglesoft
Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
Proficiency in taking dental X-rays
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to work well in a team environment
Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
Proficient in using dental software systems
