Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality care and oral hygiene services to our patients, ensuring their dental health is maintained at the highest level. Our staff and patients are friendly and welcoming!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct oral health assessments and develop individualized dental hygiene care plans- Perform professional dental cleaning procedures to remove plaque, calculus, and stains- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, proper nutrition, and preventative dental care- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed for patient diagnosis- Maintain accurate patient records and charting in compliance with HIPAA regulations- Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment
Skills:
- Proficiency in dental office procedures and terminology- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health principles- Familiarity with Dentrixl or similar practice management software- Ability to perform patient assessments and treatment planning
