Registered Dental Hygienist - White Willow Family Dental - Willow Street, PA

Fast growing, family oriented, individually owned practice seeking a Full Time Hygienist for Monday - Thursday 8-5. Clean and beautiful facility with a spacious operatory and modern equipment. You will have one hour for patient re-cares, extra time for new patients, and an hour for lunch. Must be compassionate, patient care focused, skilled in diagnosing and possess strong communication skills to build trust with your patients. Pay is negotiable.
No evenings, weekends, or early mornings. Great team environment and great loyal patients to work with.
Start date would be late May 2025
Responsibilities

Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
Sterilize dental instruments properly
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or Periodontitis
Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
Take X-rays or dental impressions
Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Monitor supplies

Skills

In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
Outstanding communication skills
A patient and friendly personality

What We Need From You

An active state hygiene license
A minimum of 1 year of related experience
A current CPR certification
X-Ray Certification (Required)
US work authorization

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $46.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 38 per week
