Dental Assistant - New Richmond Dental Associates - New Richmond, OH

Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms for patient care- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental X-rays- Perform dental laboratory procedures such as pouring models and trimming diagnostic casts- Provide post-operative instructions to patients- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
- Time management skills
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience- Current certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology- Experience with taking dental X-rays and using X-ray equipment- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
