Dental Hygienist (Part-time) - Westchester Gentle Dentistry - Port Chester, NY

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our growing team at Westchester Gentle Dentistry in Port Chester, NY. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated team player and caring individual who is dedicated to providing quality dental care to patients and treats them like family.

We trust our hygienists and give them the autonomy to see patients without feeling rushed! We normally reserve 90 minutes for new-patient hygiene visits, and 60 minutes for existing recall patients.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Conducting full mouth examinations.
Taking x-rays.
Performing dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, and fluoride.
Charting dental and periodontal conditions.
Educating patients on how to practice good oral hygiene.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a dental hygienist.
Dental hygienist certification.
Experience using Dentrix.
Experience taking digital X-rays.
Excellent communication skills.
Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus.
