Job Description
Kusek Dental in Yankton, SD is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health and patient care, as well as the skills necessary to provide high-quality dental hygiene services to our patients. We are looking for a team player who is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to helping our patients achieve optimal dental health.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct initial patient screenings and assessments
Perform thorough dental cleanings and oral exams
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
Assist the dentist with various procedures as needed
Take and develop dental x-rays
Maintain accurate patient records
Sterilize and prepare dental instruments
Provide patients with post-treatment instructions
Monitor and report on dental hygiene patient progress

Qualifications:

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of South Dakota
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficient in using dental software and technology
Commitment to continuing education and professional development
BLS certification is preferred
