General Dentist - Harford County Health Department - Baltimore, MD

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will provide the following essential functions:
Clinical Duties: Provides dental services to adults, pregnant women and children in conformity with clinic protocols and the code of ethics of the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners, ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards, and contributes to the efficiency of dental clinic operations.

Performs routine dental examinations, restorative work, and simple extractions.
Promotes oral health and disease prevention.
Creates treatment plans to maintain or restore the oral health of patients.
Interprets radiographs and diagnostic tests.
Ensures the safe administration of nitrous oxide.
Educates patients and their parents or legal guardians on maintaining proper oral health.

Qualifications:
Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school (required).
Experience:

At least 1-2 years professional experience preferred in a dental office setting. This is a consultant position.

Licenses, Registrations and Certificates:

Maryland State Dental License (Required)
Federal D.E.A. Certificate (Required)
Maryland CDS Registration (Required)

Rate is negotiable. Hours Monday to Friday (1 to 3 days a week). Regular business hours.
