We are looking for a friendly, personable and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to add to our team! We are a general dental practice in Gilroy, CA. Knowing Spanish is a plus.
We want a friendly person who enjoys serving others and is an excellent team player.
You should have experience as a dental assistant. We love our patients and we want someone with caring nature. We are looking to fill this position ASAP, starting on a part-time basis before potentially moving full time. Please apply immediately.

Job requirements include but are not limited to:
Two or more years of experience in a dental office.
Strong Knowledge of dental terminology and dental procedures.
Takes a patient-centered approach to care
Must have ability to pay close attention to detail and follow-up on all assignments
Ability to take effective dental x-rays
Ability to sterilize instruments
Ability to use a intra-oral scanner - past experience with iTero preferred
Ability to do coronal polishing if needed

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment.
Utilize dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Manage patient records and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Operate dental equipment, including 3D scanners and X-ray machines, while ensuring patient comfort.
Schedule appointments and handle administrative tasks as needed.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
