DENTAL ASSISTANT POSITION
Dental Assistant position is an hourly paid position. Primary responsibility is assisting dentists and hygienists under direction of Dental Coordinator.
Assists dentists with dental procedures
Cleans and sterilizes instruments
Obtains x-rays as needed
Serves dental practice as needed, greeting patients, answering phones and preparing patient charts
Orients dental volunteers
Maintains a prompt and consistent attendance record
Responds to all telephone calls and requests in a prompt professional manner
Maintains courteous and professional working relationship with patients, families, professional volunteers and staff
Supports and participates in the work of the Christian ministry
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Training in dental practices
Experience in dental office
Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish, both verbal and written
Supervised by: Dental Practice ManagerBenefit Conditions:
