Dental Assistant/EFDA - Fox Chapel Family Dental - Pittsburgh, PA

We are seeking an experienced full-time or part-time dental assistant or EFDA to join our long standing, family owned practice in Aspinwall.
Your main responsibilities would include assisting doctors chairside, sterilizing instruments, setting up instruments, taking X-rays and impressions, using an intraoral scanner, tracking lab cases, ordering supplies, stocking rooms, managing clinical workflow to stay on schedule, and educating patients on post-op care.
The ideal candidate would be reliable and have a positive, team-oriented attitude as well as a strong willingness to learn. Must demonstrate compassion for patients and team members and be adaptable. We are looking for someone with experience assisting all dental procedures, including minor restorations, crowns, root canals, extractions, implants, ortho, and sedation cases.
Experience with Open Dental is a plus!
35-40 hours per week but hours are negotiable. Done by 3 pm on most days! M 9-3, TW 7-3, Th 7-5, F 7-1. One Saturday per month, 8-2.
Requirements:

2+ years of dental experience
X-ray certification
CPR certification
Hepatitis Vaccination
Compliance with infection control standards and OSHA requirements
