Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) - Atglen Family Dentistry - Gap, PA

Essential Job Functions:

Set up and break down for all dental procedures including but not limited to restorative, crown and bridge, extraction, removable prosthetics and implant procedures
Complete restorative work initiated by general dentist
Demonstrate skill in using equipment needed to assist doctor with all procedures

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year EFDA experience
Maintain current PA EFDA license and CE requirements
Maintain current CPR certification

Summary
As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA), you will be integral to delivering high-quality dental care and enhancing patient experiences. Reporting to the lead dentist, your role encompasses chairside assisting, performing dental extractions, and utilizing advanced tools like 3D scanners. Your core skills in general dentistry and aseptic techniques, combined with premium skills in EMR systems and X-ray procedures, will ensure efficient practice operations. With required certifications in CPR and EFDA, you will contribute to a collaborative team focused on patient health and comfort in a dynamic dental environment.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
