Mercy Dental Missions is currently hiring for a highly motivated, full-time Dental Assistant to add to our amazing office! We are looking for a great candidate that has a heart for service and is eager to help local underserved communities.

Work Schedule:

Monday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) clinical hours
Tuesday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) clinical hours
Wednesday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) clinical hours
Thursday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) clinical hours
Occasional Friday hours
No weekends!!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Chair-side assisting
Setting up treatment rooms in preparation for patients
Taking down and cleaning treatment rooms
Instrument sterilization
Stocking and cleaning treatment rooms, sterilization, and lab
Patient follow up calls
Taking x-rays and 3D images
The ability to step into various roles and wear different hats with volunteers and team

Position Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written skills
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow with attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Ability to deal effectively with multiple personalities at all levels
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in all aspects with enthusiasm
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Salary:

$18/hr - $22/hr
Based on experience

Experience:

Dental: 1+ year of dental assisting experience preferred
