Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing medical-dental practice. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both children and adults, providing high-quality preventive and therapeutic dental care.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments to maintain patient oral health.
Conduct documentation reviews to ensure accurate patient records.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Monitor vital signs of patients before, during, and after treatments.
Maintain and update medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy to inform treatment decisions and patient education.
Utilize Open Dental software for scheduling, record keeping, and patient management.
Assist dentists during procedures as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Engage in medical coding for accurate billing and insurance purposes.

Qualifications

Active state dental hygiene license.
Strong knowledge of infection control standards and practices.
Experience with pediatric dentistry.
Proficiency in using Open Dental software is advantageous.
Excellent communication and patient education skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required.
