Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role requires a strong ability to multi-task and has understanding of dental terminology.
Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments efficiently while considering patient needs and office availability.
Review and maintain accurate patient documentation, including insurance information and medical histories.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate staff member.
Maintain an organized office environment, ensuring all clerical tasks are completed timely.
Provide support to dental staff as needed to ensure smooth operations within the practice.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in a dental office required ( 1 yr )
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is highly desirable.
Familiar with Delta Dental, Delta Care and the ability to read and understand insurance breakdowns and plan information
Excellent clerical skills with attention to detail in coding and record keeping.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Requirements

Min 1 year experience in dental is required
