Dental Assistant - Bilingual Chinese or Spanish - Garfield Health Center - Moreno Valley, CA

We are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make the dentist office more efficient and pleasant for patients. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic. You will be expected to accomplish tasks independently while working as part of a team.
Duties and responsibilities

Ensure that OSHA and CDC guidelines are followed when cleaning/sterilizing instruments and workstations.
Prepare all necessary trays for dental procedures.
Take and develop X-rays.
Assist dentists during dental procedure in an efficient and professional manner.
Explain post-op instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications

Certified Dental Assistant with X-ray License.
Working knowledge and experience in all phases of dental procedures.
Demonstrated ability with 4-handed dentistry.
Bilingual Chinese or Bilingual Spanish (Required)
Familiar with digital radiography (Preferred)

Direct reports: Dental Clinic Manager
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week) or Part time (32 hours per week)
Schedule: 8 hour shift. Working on Saturdays may be required.
Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:

X-Ray Certification
BLS Certification
Infection Control Certificate
California Practice Act Certificate

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
