Licensed Dental Assistant - Pleasant Run Family Dental - Edinburg, TX

```Duties```- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
```Experience```- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred- Knowledge of medical terminology, dental procedures, and dental materials- Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus- Proficiency in assisting with medical imaging, such as digital radiography or intraoral cameras- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling- Knowledge of anatomy to assist with dental procedures effectively- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Epic) and adherence to HIPAA regulations
