Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Review and maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit.
Conduct patient assessments to identify oral health issues and recommend appropriate treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
Implement aseptic techniques and infection control measures in compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow within the clinic environment.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practices.
Experience with documentation review and maintaining accurate dental records.
Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting.
Excellent patient assessment skills to evaluate oral health effectively.
