Dental Hygienist - Optima Dental - Saratoga, CA

OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team in Oakridge San Jose. We are looking for 1 day/week at the beginning and will add more days in near future. You will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of dental hygiene services in a friendly and professional environment.
Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Conduct thorough examinations of patients' mouths, teeth, and gums to assess oral health.
Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Dentrix
Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and medical terminology relevant to the field.

Requirements

Valid dental hygienist license in CA
Min. 3 years experience
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage patient records efficiently.
