OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and comfort during visits. This position requires a strong understanding of dental and medical terminology, as well as proficiency in various dental procedures and technologies.
DutiesAs a Dental Hygienist, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed for diagnostic purposes.
Documenting patient medical histories and vital signs accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assisting the dentist with various procedures, utilizing aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
Utilizing Eaglesoft software for patient management, including scheduling appointments and maintaining records.
Collaborating with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Proficient knowledge of dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
Experience with general dentistry practices, including knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and the ability to perform basic vital sign assessments.
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members.
