Job OverviewOur patient oriented private practice is looking for a wonderful full-time hygienist to complete our team! We have been serving the Harlan area for more than 30 years. We take pride in the care and education of our patients and our culture. Our "perfect" hygienist has excellent clinical skills, a focus on what is best for the patient, and a true belief that our work can be productive and fun at the same time. Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Review and update patient medical records, ensuring accurate documentation of treatments and procedures.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Maintain aseptic technique during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Assist dentists with four-handed dentistry during various procedures.
Stay informed about advancements in general dentistry practices and incorporate them into patient care.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care for patients.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software for documentation and patient management is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining a focus on individual patient needs.
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care with attention to detail.
