Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, medical records, and the ability to effectively communicate with both patients and team members.
Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.
Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Assist in the documentation review process to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Eaglesoft or similar software.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop individualized treatment plans.
Stay current with dental terminology and advancements in the field.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in infection control practices and procedures.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical records management.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office environment.
Prior experience assisting in a dental setting is a plus.
